WWE Rumors: Sheamus Not Attending WrestleMania 31? 'The Celtic Warrior' Possibly Missing 'Show of Shows' [VIDEO]

There are rumors that Sheamus may not appear at WrestleMania 31 as he is not being booked for events after the biggest show of 2015 on March 29 at Levi's Stadium in California.

WWE Monday Night RAW Preview and Rumors

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, despite reports that Sheamus may be ready to return soon and could be turned into a heel, the "Celtic Warrior" isn't advertised for any live events after WrestleMania 31, and that includes the annual post-WrestleMania U.K. tour.

Sheamus not being billed for any of the shows means that it is unlikely he will be ready to return from injury at WrestleMania 31. Sheamus was written off of television after receiving a beat down from Rusev and Mark Henry.

WrestleMania 31 Creative Plans Possibly Shuffled Amid Daniel Bryan Return

The WWE Superstar then posted a photo of him preparing to undergo surgery, though it is unknown what actually ailed him at the time he went under the knife.

There are reports that the WWE may push Sheamus as a heel when he returns because the roster is very face-heavy right now with only a few top heels compared to several babyfaces, including the recently-turned Randy Orton and Ryback and returning Daniel Bryan.

There have been no rumors as to what Sheamus' role will be at WrestleMania 31 if he is in fact ready to compete.

Thus far the rumored bouts for the "Show of Shows" are Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, Sting vs. Triple H, John Cena vs. Rusev and The Undertaker (if he returns) vs. Bray Wyatt.

It's worth noting that with Bryan's return to action, the main matches could be altered.

While there are big plans for WrestleMania 31, Sheamus may not be ready to partake in the biggest show of the year.
