Tonight at 10:00 p.m. ET the main card of UFC 182, headline by light heavyweight champion Jon "Bones" Jones and Daniel Cormier battling for the UFC light heavyweight title, will kick off on pay-per-view. Fans can live stream the main card by clicking this link.
Prior to those fights, however, fight fans will be treated to a slew of bouts beginning at 7:00 p.m. ET. The early prelims can be live streamed free by clicking this link, while the Fox Sports 1 prelims get going at 8:00 p.m., and can be found here.
Jones is considered the best pound-for-pound fighter in mixed martial arts, and will be aiming to make his eighth consecutive successful title defense. While there's no downgrading the competition Jones has already faced, tonight's battle may be the toughest of his career.
Daniel Cormier is not only undefeated in the UFC, he's never lost a round. He is also a naturally larger fighter-he is campaigning at light heavyweight out of deference to his friend and training partner Cain Velasquez, who holds the heavyweight crown.
This bout is also supercharged because of the personal dislike that exists between Jones and Cormier. The anger and resentment is palpable, and has manifested itself physically and verbally on multiple occasions.
Inside the octagon though, personal enmity aside, the battle could be fascinating. Jones is the longer athlete, with a supposedly more well-rounded game. Cormier has more brute strength than Jones though, and although he gives up tremendous height Cormier makes up for that with elite wrestling ability.
