Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao is the matchup that everyone wants to see in 2015, and both sides seem more willing than they have in years to work toward a super fight. Manny Pacquiao has even taken to Twitter and created a brand new hashtag to build excitement.
On New Year's Eve Pacquiao tweeted about the fight, which could break records in terms of viewership and money generated.
My family and I wish everyone a Happy and Healthy New Year. May it be full of blessings. No secret what one of my 2015 resolutions will be!

In mid-December Pacquiao leaned on a Christmas theme when reminding Mayweather of his challenge.
.@FloydMayweather, don't be a boxing humbug. Let's give the fans the fight they want. They have waited long enough. — Manny Pacquiao (@MannyPacquiao) December 16, 2014
Mayweather himself has said that he's focused on making the bout finally happen, and even dismissed Amir Khan, previously thought to have the best change of landing the next fight against the pound-for-pound king.
"The other night I think he did 4,000 (attendance), so, Amir Khan, his name holds no weight," Mayweather said. "No one knows who Amir Khan is, except for people who are involved in boxing. My focus is Manny Pacquiao, let's make it happen."
Pacquiao's stock improved in 2014; after back-to-back losses in 2012 Pacquiao is on a three-fight winning streak, his most recent win being a six-knockdown demolition of WBO 140-pound champion Chris Algieri. Mayweather, on the other hand, remained undefeated in 2014 with two wins over Marcos Maidana. He looked more vulnerable than usual in those fights though, which is part of the reason for the renewed desire to see him take on Pacquiao.
