The Detroit Lions can't stop making headlines for all the wrong reasons.
A week after center Dominic Raiola was suspended one game for blatantly stomping on the exposed ankle of the Bears' Ego Ferguson, defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh was caught on camera stepping backwards onto Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers' ankle during Sunday's game.
Rodgers, who had left the game momentarily with a calf injury, was obviously none-too-pleased with Suh's actions, and gave the Lions DT a healthy shove in retaliation.
Unlike Raiola's stomp, which was dirty and premeditated, there seemed to at least exist the possbility that Suh's actions were unintentional. On Twitter, the jury was out.
Ah, that was on purpose by Suh.

My personal opinion - that was not an intentional act by Suh there. And he didn't stomp down like Raiola did last week. — Mike Pereira (@MikePereira) December 29, 2014
Of course it was. Suh's a repeat offender stomp artist. RT @judybattista: Fox had the replay of Suh stepping on Rodgers. Was it intentional? — Don Van Natta Jr. (@DVNJr) December 29, 2014
Brandon Marshall Says Raiola's 'A Dirty Player and a Worse Human Being
Suh has a history of dirty plays in the past, so he may not deserve the benefit of the doubt here. He's been fined over $200,000 in his career for unsportsmanlike actions, and was voted the NFL's "least liked" player in 2012.
The Lions lost Sunday's match-up to the Packers, 30-20. They will travel to Dallas next weekend for a Wild-Card playoff showdown versus the Cowboys.
Watch footage of Suh's stomp above, and be the judge of whether or not it was a dirty play.
