There is reportedly some major heat on WWE Diva AJ Lee stemming from her appearance with her husband CM Punk at UFC 181 and due to her Slammy Awards speech on a recent episode of Monday Night RAW.

TNA Officials Mad At Spike TV As Their Partnership Comes To A Close

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, there has been a lot of negative talk regarding Lee backstage in the WWE lately. Lee hasn't been on television since the TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs (and stairs) event on Dec. 15 due to the fact that she is sidelined with an unknown injury.

There is a lot of negative talk going around regarding Lee taking time off to join Punk in Las Vegas for his announcement that he will be joining UFC and fighting for the company in late 2015.

Update On CM Punk's UFC Debut in 2015

Punk, of course, has a lot of bad blood with the WWE stemming from him walking out last January and never returning. Punk stayed silent after departing, but recently appeared on Colt Cabana's Art of Wrestling podcast to share his side of the story.

Punk said he left the WWE because he received a concussion at the Royal Rumble the night before his departure and he felt management was mishandling his injuries like they did in the past.

The former WWE Champion was also upset over the way he was being used and was still frustrated about being "stifled creatively" in 2011 when he was on the rise.

Vince McMahon appeared on a special edition of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin's podcast on the WWE Network and said he was sorry for Punk receiving his termination papers from the WWE on the day he married Lee.

McMahon also said he wished the two would be able to work together again someday.

Punk said that he would never ever have a working relationship with the WWE again and the chances of that happening became even less likely when he signed with UFC.

Lee's appearance alongside her husband and praise of how they were treated by UFC on Twitter didn't do her any favors as far as the WWE's management is concerned.

Another thing that upset people backstage was Lee's speech at the Slammy Awards. Lee delivered her speech differently from how it was scripted and it came off as her burying everyone in the division except for Paige.

There are also reports that another incident that was described as a "hiccup" happened with her a few months back, which caused the WWE to remove her from the intro for Main Event.

It's unknown what that specific issue was, but it occurred before Punk's signing with UFC was confirmed.

The WWE wrote the three-time Divas Champion out of storylines at TLC by having Nikki Bella spray her in the eyes with hairspray during their Divas Championship match, and Lee hasn't been seen on television since.

There were rumors that Lee might want to take some time off to be with Punk, but as of now she is still expected to return to the company.

It's been a tumultuous couple of months between Punk and the WWE and now Lee finds herself in hot water with the company as well.
