TNA Impact Wrestling is set to move to its new network home of Destination America in the New Year, but the company's relationship with Spike TV may have soured due to the airing of the final two episodes of its flagship show on that station.

Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that TNA officials were not happy with Spike TV pushing the final two episodes of Impact Wrestling to a late night timeslot rather than its normal scheduled air time.

TNA expected to remain in primetime during its last two weeks to build momentum for the move, but Spike TV opted to push it back to a later time over the last two editions.

While TNA will no longer air on Spike TV come 2015, there was no mention of Wednesday's edition of Impact Wrestling being the last to air on Spike TV or the company moving to Destination America.

It was revealed in October that Spike TV was looking to drop TNA from its schedule in an attempt to fade away from the realm of professional wrestling.

The network then opted to keep the company's flagship program on the airwaves through the end of 2014 as a way to be a good partner to the organization as it searched for a new network home.

TNA reportedly had several interested stations in bringing it on board, but in the end it opted to sign on with Destination America, which will air other TNA-related programs in addition to Impact Wrestling.

As a New Year is set to be ushered in, TNA is preparing for its big move to Destination America, but its lengthy partnership with Spike TV may have come to an uncomfortable end.
