Arsenal were seconds from earning the full three points at Anfield on Sunday. Then, every bit of Per Mertesacker's 78-inch frame flinched, making way for Martin Skrtel's equalizer in stoppage-time. Arsenal's glaring flaws returned to the forefront. The club simply cannot defend.

Gareth Bale Accepts £120 Million Move to Manchester United

Paul Pogba Could Cost Manchester United £70 Million

Unfortunately for the Gunners, Ramos shows no signs of departing the Santiago Bernabeu. The 28-year-old, riding legendary form, is prepared to deliver more silverware to Real Madrid.

"[It] has been a fantastic year, not only because of the trophies, but because of the way they were won," Ramos said (via Marca). "Carlo Ancelotti has got every player playing to a high level."

"The club has recovered the spot that it had lost," he added. "That respect that everyone had for Real Madrid is there at every ground. La Décima was a unique moment. Bringing that joy to the Madridistas ranks as one of the best moments of my life. If we continue in the current vein, the team are contenders to have another great year."

"[I] want to celebrate more silverware with the fans."

Ramos wouldn't be celebrating with the fans in London. Arsenal went eight-plus years without lifting a single trophy before overcoming Hull City in last season's FA Cup final. A club lacking ambition is no place for a player in search of cementing his legacy.
