According to TMZ, Nash was arrested early Christmas Eve morning after an incident with his son Tristen. While details are sketchy, Nash was taken into custody in Volusia County, Fla. around midnight after an unknown person called police to his home.

Per the report, Nash had blood on his face when he was arrested and a second 911 call came in with the claim that Tristen had attacked his mother. Tristen was then also arrested for battery.

Nash and his son are currently being held without bond and there is a belief that alcohol could have factored into the events.

Nash is scheduled for an appearance for Maryland Championship Wrestling this weekend, but there is no word whether or not the arrest will change anything.

Nash recently spoke with ABC News to promote the appearance prior to his arrest and he spoke about not being upset if he doesn't get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame amid rumors he may be in the Class of 2015 under the "Diesel" moniker.

"I'm not going to be defined by the Hall of Fame," Nash told the affiliate. "I believe my body of work over nearly 30 years speaks for itself."

Nash also spoke about keeping in touch with Triple H, who has a prominent role in the decision-making in the WWE these days.

"Social media is huge today," he said. "It's a lot easier for fans to keep up with wrestlers and see the next big star in the making. If someone catches my eye, I do my best to let Triple H know there is someone out there the WWE should be interested in signing."

Nash, 55, is a five-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion and one-time WWE Champion.
