Dallas Cowboys linebacker Rolando McClain's Tuscaloosa mansion was destroyed in an all-consuming fire early Tuesday morning.

Thankfully, no one was injured in the blaze, but the six-bedroom, five-bathroom house appears torched beyond repair. McClain acquired the property at a price tag of about $1.5 million dollars.

Some photos of the inferno were shared on Twitter Tuesday.

The cause of the fire has yet to be determined, though an investigation has been opened.

"Anytime you have a vacant house go up, particularly one of that value, you have to consider it suspicious," [Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Lt. Andy Norris] said, via AL.com. Witnesses reportedly also saw a car speeding away from the scene of the flames.

McClain won a national championship at Alabama in 2009 and was a first round NFL draft pick the following year. He's had an up-and-down pro career that's involved multiple run-ins with law enforcement, but he's salvaged himself in Dallas this season. He's stayed out of trouble in 2014; instead, he's been the one causing trouble for opposing offenses, wracking up over 80 tackles, a sack, a forced fumble, and two interceptions this season.
