LeBron James is making his much awaited return to South Beach on Christmas Day, a few months after bolting the Miami Heat for his hometown Cleveland Cavaliers this offseason.

How the Heat faithful are going to receive their former King is the topic of much debate this week, and now James' ex-teammate Dwyane Wade has weighed in with his two cents.

Will the fans boo LeBron? "It's going to be a mixture," Wade predicted, per ESPN.com. "How I think he should be received is a little bit different. The man helped take us to places we've only been once before he got here. So I think he should be received very well for that at the start of the game. And then, when the game [starts], then do what you've got to do."

At 16-10, Cleveland is currently a game back of the Bulls for first place in the Central Division. Wade's Heat sit at third in the Southeast, with a 13-15 mark.

Despite LeBron ditching Wade for Cleveland, Flash said that the two of them remain as strong friends as ever.

"I think we talk as much as you can ever talk to one of your best friends," Wade said. "Whether it’s about basketball or it’s about (James’ sons) Bronny and Bryce and (Wade’s sons) Zaire and Zion and so on. It’s what we do, and what we’ve always done—even before we became teammates.”
