Johnny Manziel Steals a Smooch After Poor Performance
Johnny Manziel is the latest rookie quarterback under the microscope. After an abysmal debut start, the Cleveland Browns coaching staff and front office have two weeks to decide if he's truly their signal caller of the future, or if he's the latest first round bust. There are plenty of things you can say Manziel needs to improve at -- his presence in the pocket, his work ethic, his off-field partying, his accuracy, perhaps more.
One thing Johnny Football's never been criticized before, however, is his first name. Until now. Sean Kane of Comcast Sports Philadelphia had a scorching hot take about why certain quarterbacks like Manziel or the Panthers' Jimmy Clausen have struggled on the pro level.
Guys like Manziel and Clausen set themselves up for failure by not going by John and Jim, respectively. Time to grow up, its the NFL.
