According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, TNA reportedly made a big offer to Del Rio to the tune of a one-year $400,000 pact.

The reason why it is doubtful that Del Rio will sign the deal is because TNA wants exclusivity to him, but he is working for El Ray and AAA's Lucha Underground in 2015 and has upcoming bouts scheduled for Ring of Honor.

TNA is trying to sell Del Rio on the idea that he will get more television exposure in the United States with their company compared to any other, especially since WWE is no longer an option for him.

There is a belief that TNA may have to drop the exclusivity clause or up the money to land the former WWE Champion.

TNA is making a big push for Del Rio as it prepares to launch Impact Wrestling on its new network home of Destination America next month.

Regarding his ROH appearances, the organization revealed that Del Rio will battle Christopher Daniels in his first bout on Jan. 3 in Nashville and that his second contest will be against ACH on Jan. 30 in Michigan while his opponent is TBA for the Jan. 31 event in Ohio.

Del Rio has said in the past that he was planning on working for TNA in 2015, but there has been no confirmation of him accepting the company's offer. Bellator MMA has also reportedly reached out to Del Rio after UFC made a big splash by signing CM Punk.

Del Rio was released by the WWE on Aug. 7 for slapping a social media worker who allegedly passed a racist comment about him by saying that it was Del Rio's job to clean off his plate in catering behind the former WWE Superstar's back.

The two sides recently worked out a deal where Del Rio's no-compete clause was lifted in exchange for the former WWE Superstar not bashing the company publicly or painting it in a racist light.

Del Rio won the AAA World Heavyweight Championship recently when he defeated El Texano to capture the gold.

While TNA has reportedly made an aggressive offer to Del Rio, there is no confirmation that he will be joining the company.
