WWE Superstar Roman Reigns had his first match in nearly four months on Tuesday's live episode of WWE SmackDown and he spoke about his comeback to the squared circle afterward.

Reigns has been injured since Sept. 20 when he had to be rushed to the hospital for emergency hernia surgery. The injury caused the WWE to cancel his match with Seth Rollins at Night of Champions the next month at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

Reigns has made sporadic appearances on WWE television since suffering the injury, but he wasn't cleared to fully compete until recently. Reigns got physically involved when Rollins took on John Cena in a Tables Match at TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs this past Sunday.

The WWE Superstar of the Year thwarted off The Big Show and hit Rollins with the Superman Punch, enabling Cena to hit the AA through a table and win the match Sunday night in Cleveland.

Renee Young caught up with Reigns after he defeated Fandango on SmackDown on Tuesday to close out his first match back.

"It's like the old riding a bike thing," Reigns told Young on WWE Fallout. "I was still able to oil my arms, hair conditioner in. Got a bad a-- vest on, able to lace the boots. Everything felt really good, my movement felt good. Athleticism is still there."

Reigns defeated Fandango with the spear in his first match back and is figured to be featured prominently on WWE television over the next couple of months.

"I think the only thing that would suck," Reigns said, "[would be] if you were Fandango. [It's] good to be back."

Reigns was the first man to announce that he will be an entrant in the 2015 Rumble Match at the Royal Rumble on Jan. 25 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

There are rumors that Reigns will win the match and then go on to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 31 on March 29 at Levi's Stadium in the Bay Area.

Now that the leader of the "Roman Empire" has returned, the WWE has big plans for Reigns heading into 2015.
