Washington just dropped to 3-11 following their loss to the New York Giants on Sunday, but wide receiver DeSean Jackson has no regrets about joining the team. The wide receiver opened up about leaving Philadelphia and made it clear that he does not wish that he could go back.

According to media reports, Jackson does not miss Philadelphia, saying, "Nope. I don't miss the team. I don't miss the organization. There's no point in living in the past. This is my team. This is where I am for better or worse. Do you live in the past? It's no way to live."

Jackson also had a sarcastic joke ready when he was asked if he ever got an explanation for why he was released.

"Didn't you hear? I'm a gangster. I'm in a gang. That's why I'm gone," he said. The quote references a story about alleged gang ties Jackson had that came out around the time that Philadelphia released him. Eagles head coach Chip Kelly insisted that the release was purely based on football reasons.

Jackson also shared his thoughts on whether the Eagles missed him at all. "They've still got [Jeremy] Maclin. I'm happy for my boy. He's been dealing all year," said Jackson. "But it's Maclin and that's all they've got."

It certainly sounds like he thinks the team wishes they still had him around. Jackson had a career year last year in Philadelphia, and he has been arguably the most dangerous deep threat in the entire NFL since entering the league. The Eagles thought that Riley Cooper would be able to step in and replace some of Jackson's production, but the wideout from Florida has had a poor year by any standards, and Philadelphia's passing attack has not inspired fear in defenses the way it did last year, although the Eagles still have a very potent offense.
