Sydney Leroux has a new soccer beau.
The 24-year-old star of the US Women's national team and Seattle Reign FC forward took to Twitter Monday morning to announce that she was "so happy" with her new relationship. The object of Leroux's affections? Dom Dwyer of MLS' Sporting Kansas City.

Leroux's friend and USA teammate Abby Wombach replied to the annoucement with comic enthusiasm, writing "Finally #outofthecloset".

Leroux and the rest of the women's national team were in Brasilia last night as part of an International Tournament, facing off against host nation Brazil. The team fought hard but lost 3-2. Leroux was scoreless in 80 minutes of playing time.
This is Syd the Kid's first public romance. Dwyer himself had posted a bikini pic of Leroux on Instagram last week during #WCW (a weekly "Woman Crush Wednesday" hashtag), but this is the first official confirmation of the pair's coupling.
