Rex Ryan may have some fans in the Fins organization.

The New York Jets are a dumpster fire, fresh off an ugly 16-11 win over the equally inept Tennessee Titans Sunday. The victory moved the team to just 3-11 on the season. Ryan is widely expected to be axed at season's end.

However, despite taking the fall for the Jets' myriad struggles, Ryan is still expected to be a sought- after coaching commodity in the 2015 off-season. He took the Jets to two AFC Championship appearances and is universally recognized as one of the leading defensive minds in the game. He's also a media darling whose affable nature would bring off-field attention and energy to any franchise that might sign him as well.

Early on Monday Jets beat writer Manish Mehta suggested the Miami Dolphins as a possible landing spot for the sixth-year head coach.

The Dolphins entered the season with big time playoff aspirations, and spent most of the year in the thick of the AFC race, however, they've crumbled in recent weeks and head coach Joe Philbin is not expected to be back in 2015. Ryan would seem to be a natural fit for Miami's already-formidable defense. Speculation also exists that Ryan will forego a second coaching stint altogether, in favor of pursuing a new career in broadcasting.
