What They're Saying

America manager Antonio Mohamed (via Medio Tiempo): "We don't need anything heroic, just a game of football. We have to play as hosts and we have to win by one goal. With 100,000 people supporting us, we have the visions of being champions and we're going to be champions. After that, we'll see [about my future]. We have to score a goal in the opening minutes. Nothing has been decided. It's only one goal. At home, we're strong and we know Tigres drops a lot in quality when they come to the capital. They also know it and that's why they should be worried."

Tigres UANL captain Damián álvarez (via Medio Tiempo): "We are going for everything on Sunday. For us, it will be the most important [match] and we're going to play it that way. Sincerely, we're going to want to play the better game."

Tactical Preview

Player to Watch: Without Rubens Sambueza in the starting lineup, America looked listless at the Estadio Universitario. The 30-year-old has been limited to 14 appearances this Apertura, but managed to create a club-best 47 chances. Any hopes of the hosts overturning a 1-0 deficit rest on his shoulders.

Tactic to Watch: Tigres manager Ricardo Ferretti switched to a three-man back line after starting the match in a 4-3-3 in Leg 1. It yielded the ideal result following a lackluster first half. The question remains: Will Ferretti opt for three center-backs at the start, or a conventional back line?

America's Projected Lineup (4-4-2): Munoz; Mares, Aguilar, Goltz, Alvarado; Layun, Molina, Sambueza, Martinez; Peralta, Rey

Toluca's Projected Lineup (3-4-3): Guzman; Ayala, Rivas, Torres; Torres, Rios, Duenas, Estrada; Alvarez, Gomez, Guerron
