When the Cleveland Browns announced this week that Johnny Manziel would be replacing Brian Hoyer as the team's starting quarterback, Johnny Football Mania had officially begun in earnest.

The Browns rookie had previously replaced Hoyer in the second half of a Week 13 loss to the Bills, scoring a touchdown with his feet and completing 5 of 8 passes. With Cleveland sitting in the midst of the AFC playoff picture at 7-6, Browns fans would be forgiven for being very excited about Manziel hype.

In fact, two well-known celebrity fans of the quarterback made sure to set aside time to see Manziel make his debut in person. The former Heisman Tophy winner's girlfriend and part-time model Colleen Crowley let her social media followers know that she was Cleveland bound.

In addition, fellow Cleveland sports star LeBron James was in attendance at FirstEnergy Field on Sunday, according to NFL.com. LeBron even made sure to instagram some words of encourage for Manziel before kick-off.

Best of luck to my lil brother @jmanziel2 on making his 1st start today. Let's Go!! A photo posted by LeBron James (@kingjames) on Dec 12, 2014 at 7:13am PST

Unfortunately for Crowley, James, Manziel, and Browns fans all alike, the QB's debut start could not have gone any worse. Manziel completed just 10 pass for 80 yards and two interceptions in a 30-0 blow-out at the hands of the Bengals.
