Another Thursday night is upon us, bearing with it a fantastic intra-divisional match-up between the Arizona Cardinals and the host St. Louis Rams.

The Cardinals enter the Edward Jones Dome with a 10-3 record, and they'll be looking to maintain their first place position in the NFC West. The Rams are just 6-7, but they're playing their best football of the season right now. This is not the same St. Louis squad that was beaten down 31-14 by Arizona five weeks ago. Since then they've 3-1, outscoring opponents by a margin of 100-7 in those victories.

The Cardinals' star cornerback Antonio Cromartie is questionable with a wrist injury. Should he be unable to play, that will create more options for Rams receivers Kenny Britt and Tavon Austin in the downfield passing game. Shaun Hill is not a Pro Bowl-caliber quarterback, but he's got a good arm and most importantly takes care of the football. He has no turnovers and four touchdowns since mid-November.

The Rams defensive front line is one of the best in football. They're comfortably in the top ten in the NFL in sacks, so expect Arizona QB Drew Stanton to hit the turf on more than one occasion.

The Cardinals are still the better team, and they'll be playing meaningful football long after the Rams' season is over. But for just this one night, I like the home team to continue their recent spate of tough, efficient football.

PREDICTION: Rams 19, Cardinals 13
