Chris Rock attended a media event in Baltimore last night, and he could not resist sharing his thoughts about Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. The remarks no doubt delighted the audience, as the Pittsburgh Steelers are a bitter rival of the Baltimore Ravens.

DeMarco Murray Pretending Affair Never Happened

According to media reports, Rock was in town for a screening of his upcoming movie, Top 5. He was addressing the crowd prior to the showing when he said, "I was getting ready to say something really bad about Roethlisberger... he's the original Cosby."

As NFL fans may remember, Roethlisberger has been accused of sexual assualt on two different occasions. The first occurred at Lake Tahoe in 2008, and the second instance was at a nightclub in Georgia in 2010. Roethlisberger was not charged with a crime in either case, although he did reach a settlement with the woman from the incident at Lake Tahoe.

Time Running Out On NFL's Peterson Decision

Unlike Cosby, Roethlisberger was never accused of drugging the women. The famous comedian has allegedly drugged his victims before taking advantage of them.

There is no indication of whether Rock was simply playing to the crowd when he delivered the Roethlisberger line, although he must have known it would go over well. Still, he was aware that word might spread about the joke. "That's horrible," he said after the joke. "That's gonna go everywhere."

Too bad for Ravens fans that the they have already played the Steelers twice. The crowd certainly would have had some fun with Rock's joke if the two teams had a game remaining this season.
