Brennan Clay's shocking tweets revealing details of an affair between his wife and Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray have dominated headlines recently. Murray seems to be pretending like the tweets and headlines do not exist.

5 Things To Know About Murray Scandal

Murray has yet to comment on anything regarding the scandal or the alleged affair. His representatives delivered a concise statement last week saying that Murray had no comments on the story and that he was focused on football. Murray's significant other, Heidi Mueller, also has not mentioned the scandal at all.

Instead, the two seem to be pretending that there are no sordid news stories involving the Cowboys star and going about their business as usual. Mueller has continued tweeting during Cowboys games, even putting a video on Instagram of she and Murray's daughter Savanna celebrating after a Murray touchdown last Thursday night.

Murray Scandal Paving Adrian Peterson's Way To Dallas?

Murray has largely been quiet on social media until he posted a tweet and a picture on Monday.

Mueller retweeted the tweet and posted the same photo on Instagram. There is no indication that Murray is specifically referencing the affair scandal with his words in the tweet, but it certainly seems to at least allude to the fact that he is experiencing some off-the-field turmoil at the moment.

Murray did have a great game against the Bears, compiling over 200 yards from scrimmage on 41 touches. The Cowboys have indicated that they have no intention of lightening Murray's workload down the stretch, as they are in the thick of a highly competitive playoff race in the NFC. There is speculation that Dallas may move on from Murray after the season when his contract ends and that they are simply getting every last bit of production they can from him before another running back leads their backfield next season.

The Cowboys travel to Philadelphia on Sunday for a game that could very well decide the NFC East.
