Chris Jericho will return to guest host RAW next Monday night, but he is on hiatus from in-ring competition in the WWE and he recently said he'd like to have a feud with injured Superstar Daniel Bryan if and when both men return to the company.

Talent Upset Over Vince McMahon's 'Brass Ring' Comments On WWE Network

Jericho, who recently said in a Twitter Q&A that he won't be appearing at the Royal Rumble in January or WrestleMania 31 in March, told Wrestling101 that he'd like to feud with Bryan and some other competitors when he returns.

"When the time comes for me to go back, if I have some time and they're willing to have me back I will look through the roster and see what works and makes sense," Jericho told the site. "Seth Rollins is great, Dean Ambrose is great, I think Daniel Bryan as a babyface vs. myself as a heel would tear the house down."

He added: "There are a lot of great guys but it all depends on what they've got going on and what I've got going on. The last thing they are going to be doing is waiting around for Chris Jericho to come back, so when the time comes we will see what is going on and who is doing what with who and make some decisions from there."

Bryan has been sidelined since mid-May when he underwent surgery on his neck and he may face a second procedure in the near-future since he hasn't regained feeling in his right hand following the first operation. There is no timetable for Bryan's return to action.

Jericho was also asked to compare his three past bosses in Paul Heyman (ECW), Eric Bischoff (WCW) and Vince McMahon (WWE).

"Vince is the best boss I've ever had," Jericho said. "The other guys were good bosses but to me they were just small time independent guys as far as the companies they had. Being in ECW and WCW for me was all about getting into WWE and I didn't really care about anything else. Vince is the best boss I've ever had in the business and I wouldn't work for anyone else but him and I haven't for the last few years."

Lastly, Jericho commented on CM Punk, who walked out on the WWE in January and was released from the company over the summer before announcing on Saturday that he's signed with UFC.

Jericho now works as a part-time WWE Superstar and had his most recent stint come to an end after a summer-long feud with Bray Wyatt, a program with Randy Orton in September and taking part in the company's European tour last month.

Jericho was asked if he thought Punk would ever return to wrestling, and "Y2J" touched on his own past experiences of being burned out by the WWE's schedule.

"That is something you will have to ask CM Punk, I haven't spoken to him about it," he said. "I do know in 2005 I was very burned out from wrestling and I left for two and a half years. If Punk does come back it might take a while because when you're burned out your done, like I said it took me two and half years before I decided I wanted to come back."

He continued: "A lot of people forget that I left for quite a long period of time. It is a tough life, there is a lot of pressure and a lot of politics, you go through a lot of s--t. If you're not there 100 percent it can really drag you down that's for sure."
