Dwyane Wade Prom [VIDEO]: Miami Heat Star Escorts High School Girl Nicole Muxo To Prom

Dwyane Wade granted a high school teen the thrill of a lifetime this week when he took her up on her longshot offer and showed up at her prom.

Nicole Muxo, a high school senior at Archbishop Coleman Carroll High in West Kendall, took to the internet and YouTube in extending her invitation to the Miami Heat star. And out of nowhere, Friday night he actually showed up, according to NBCMiami.com

Muxo had told NBC 6 South Florida she asked out Wade because he’s her favorite player and because he’s a positive role model for a lot of people. The 31-year-old, two-time NBA champ retains legal custody over his two young sons.

NBC was sure to report Wade refrained from wearing some of the more colorful fashions he’s donned throughout this year’s Heat playoff run.  Instead, he went with the more traditional tux look, posing for an assortment of photos with Mux and growing contingent of friends.

Wade finds himself with a little more free time than he may have once expected, as the Heat await the winner of the New York vs. Indiana series for Eastern Conference supremacy.

Led by Wade and MVP LeBron James, the Heat have won eight of their first nine playoffs matches and are viewed as overwhelming favorites to defend their NBA title.
