Johnny Manziel turned 22 on Saturday, and the Cleveland Browns quarterback was eating good for his birthday.

The former Heisman Trophy winner celebrated his big day in style, with a $600, customized cake courtesy of Cleveland's Colossal Cupcakes. The cake was designed with money bags and gold coins, no doubt a reference to Johnny Football's famous "money sign" hand gesture.

TMZ Sports spoke to the owner of Colassal Cupcakes, who stated that the personalized cake took over two days to construct and weighed a whopping 45 pounds.

Manziel's gal pal, TCU undergrad and sometimes-model Colleen Crowley, was also in town to celebrate the occasion.

Manziel also got a belated birthday present from Browns head coach Mike Pettine on Monday, when he named Manziel the team's starter for Sunday's upcoming bout against Cincinnati.

Manziel replaced starting quarterback Brian Hoyer two weeks ago in the second half of a 26-10 loss to Buffalo, scoring a touchdown in relief. Speculation swirled that Pettine would make the switch to Manziel, but he stuck with Hoyer for one more week. Hoyer threw for just 140 yards and two interceptions in a 25-24 loss to Indianapolis.
