Elisha Shaw, a four-star defensive tackle prospect according to 247sports.com, caught the attention of Clay Travis and Outkickthecoverage.com when he tweeted a picture complaining that he didn't have a full five-star ranking on earlier this week. Shaw's screen caption showed 247sports.com's rankings of defensive tackles, as well as a tab on his browser entitled "Isis Taylor pov- Pornhub".
On Thursday, the actress who starred in Shaw's favored video made an attempt to recruit the prized prospect to her favorite school. Taylor, a known USC fan retweeted Travis' original story and made her recruiting pitch to the defensive tackle.
"Hey Elisha Shaw....Wanna #fighton #trojan," the starlet tweeted. Despite her obvious advantage to sway the lineman, her Trojans may have a big task in front of them to convince Shaw to leave the southeast.
On Wednesday, the Georgia native told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution named two early leaders to gain his commitment for next season.
"Alabama and Georgia are like the same. That's why they are my top two. Both of them are equal for me right now. I'm just going to keep riding it out until I find the difference in them."
The 6-foot-5, 300-pounder has shown favoritism to home-state Georgia and reigning national champion 'Bama on numerous occasions. Last month, Shaw gave Georgia an advantage after attending the team's spring game. However, he visited Alabama's the next week and put them in the No. 1 position on his list of schools.
"Coach (Nick) Saban, man, he's a great coach," Shaw told the AJC newspaper. "They train all their players to win. That's why they win. They get the coaching, and they also work out hard. It's just like Geogria, you know. They all work out like that."
Shaw has 20 early scholarship offers. He plans to visit Miami, Ohio State and "pretty much everybody" this summer. He will announce his decision in January.
