What They're Saying
Tigres UANL manager (via Goal): "Toluca is a great team and we didn't know how to counter their offensive aspects and we didn't play good attacking football. I would have liked to take the lead and nothing is decided. I expect us to play better on Sunday. I would like to pass as is and yes, the 0-0 is fine. The goal is to advance.
Toluca manager Jose Cardozo (via Azteca Deportes): "I'm happy for the group, for the players. You saw that only one team wanted to win on the pitch. I know perfectly that this is won with goals. We didn't guarantee us anything, but I leave happy because these are the games we like to play. The team from the start went to press. We were in control for 90 minutes and it was a shame not to solidify the result."
