Tonight at 8:30 p.m. ET, the Montreal Canadiens (17-8-2, 36 points) and Chicago Blackhawks (16-8-1, 33 points) take the ice at the United Center in Chicago for the second and final meeting against each other this season. Montreal has lost four of its last five, but still sits in second place in the Atlantic Division while Chicago has won four straight games and is in third in the Central Division. The Blackhawks blanked the Canadiens 5-0 the first time these two teams met this season.

The Canadiens are coming off of a 2-1 loss to the Montreal Canadiens on Wednesday and will be playing their fourth straight road game.

Montreal has been paced by Max Pacioretty, who has a team-best 20 points off of 12 goals and eight assists while Tomas Plekanec has eight tallies and 10 helpers for 18 points thus far.

The Blackhawks finish off a brief two-match home stand and are coming off of a 4-1 victory over the St. Louis Blues on Wednesday which marked the third straight game in which Chicago won by that score.

Patrick Kane is the team leader in points thus far this season with 25 off of 12 goals and 13 assists while Kris Versteeg has eight markers and 13 helpers for 21 points and captain Jonathan Toews has found the back of the net 10 times and added 10 assists for 20 points.

In net, Chicago is likely to turn to Antti Raanta and he is 2-2-0 with a 1.77 goals-against average and a .947 save percentage thus far this season.

Montreal is slated to counter with Carey Price in the crease and he is 14-6-1 with a 2.35 GAA and a .922 save percentage this season.
