Today at 3:30 p.m. Bedlam will commence at Memorial Stadium when the No. 20 Oklahoma Sooners (8-3, 5-3) take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys (5-6, 3-5) on Fox Sports 1 in a matchup that fans can live stream free here. Sooners fans can listen to the rivalry game on News Talk KOKC 1520, while Cowboys fans may do likewise on KFAQ - 1170 AM.

It has been two weeks since Oklahoma freshman Samaje Perine broke the NCAA single-game rushing record, which Wisconsin's Melvin Gordon held for just one week, by chewing up 427 yards on the ground vs. Kansas. Sooners coach Bob Stoops isn't willing to speculate how good his young runner could be because he doesn't want to potentially shortchange him.

"Who knows what his ceiling is?" Bob Stoops said. "He's going to get stronger, he's going to get faster."

Perine has rushed for 1,428 yards and a whopping 19 touchdowns for the Sooners this season, covering often for the inconsistent play of quarterbacks Trevor Knight and Cody Thomas. Perine might be able to approach his Kansas numbers again vs. an Oklahoma State defense that has allowed more than 31 points a week.

Offensively, the Cowboys are going through turmoil at the quarterback position as well with the coaching staff refusing to name a starter between Daxx Garman or Mason Rudolph.

Coach Mike Gundy may have offered a clue when he praised Rudolph's recent play despite some costly mistakes.

"Looks like he played OK," Gundy said. "He made some mistakes. He had a couple of poor throws. Obviously, he made a mistake there at the end on the interception. I thought he handled himself well."
