VIRGINIA vs MARYLAND Watch FREE Online: ACC Big Ten Challenge

Tonight at 9:15 p.m. ET on ESPN 2 the ACC/Big Ten challenge rolls on between two teams who used to play on the same side. The No. 7 Virginia Cavaliers (7-0) will take on the Maryland Terrapins (7-0), new to the Big Ten, in a matchup that can be live streamed free by clicking this link. Virginia fans may listen to the radio broadcast on Sports Radio 910, while Maryland fans may do likewise on WJZ-AM 1300.

The Cavaliers won the ACC last season and have started off red-hot once again thanks to a stifling defense under head coach Tony Bennett that's limiting opponents to 43.6 points a night. "We said we (were) going to win with our defense," Bennett said. "We are going to play defense."

The Terrapins have been equally as hot to start the season out, and enter play putting up 78.1 points per game, so something will have to give.

"My guys play with poise," Terrapins coach Mark Tugeon said of his players' ability to handle the constant pressure that will be applied by Virginia. "They just keep figuring it out and hopefully they just continue to do that."

Senior guard Richaud Pack will be crucial to Maryland conquering that defense, and he's coming off a breakout performance against VMI in which he scored 22 points. "It was really good to get out of a slump. I've never had a slump. I probably had one bad shooting game, but never two in a row," Pack said.

Maryland will rely on Pack because their top scorer, Dez Wells, is out of action with a broken wrist that will sideline him for four weeks. Freshman guard Melo Trimble will be leaned on as well-he is currently Maryland's top scorer per game at 16.6 points.
