By now, everybody has seen that several members of the New England Patriots were out enjoying themselves the other night, but Tom Brady says he has no interest in such things. The players made an appearance with Justin Bieber in the Los Angeles Clippers locker room prior to hitting the town.
According to media reports, Tom Brady says that his days of going out and partying are behind him. The Patriots are on the west coast ahead of a game with the San Diego Chargers, and several Patriots, including Rob Gronkowski, Jonas Gray, and Shane Vereen, decided to enjoy themselves during the week.
Not Brady however, who said those days "have come and gone in my life." Brady spoke with WEEI's "Dennis and Callahan" on Tuesday. "Those guys should go out and have fun," said Brady of Gronk and the others. "They're young guys."
Brady is just at a different point in his life and career. He went on to say, "This is my first time away from my kids for a while so I was trying to get some decent sleep."
The 9-3 Patriots face the 8-4 Chargers in a game that has serious playoff implications for both teams. New England is battling for the number one seed, and San Diego needs every win they can get in a tight wild card race.
