Thierry Henry announced his retirement from Major League Soccer following the New York Red Bulls' exit from the Eastern Conference finals. Now, the speculation surrounding his future is mounting. According to talkSPORT (via Goal Transfer Talk), said future could be in Turkey.

Per the reports, Galatasaray are keen to lure Henry in the January transfer window.

The same cannot be said for Laurent Blanc. The Paris-Saint Germain boss played down a potential move to the Parc des Princes. "I'm not thinking about that [Henry]," he told Football365 (via ESPN FC). "I'm 20,000 leagues away from that."

Blanc isn't, however, sold on Henry permanently retiring his boots.

"[He] has had an extraordinary career, at club level and with the national team," Blanc added. "He decided to stop in the United States, but as for his career, wait a bit before asking that question. You never know. He may perhaps still plays."

"I told the last time, I would not be surprised if he still plays for a bit. He loves the game so much, that it would not surprise me."

The obvious choice for Henry is a return to Arsenal, the club that forever etched his name in the pantheons of world football. Manager Arsene Wenger has zero doubts that scenario will play out.

"Certainly one day he will come back here," Wenger said. "In what role, I don't know. That is what he has to think about, what direction he wants to give to his next life."

Henry made 261 Premier League appearances and finished with 176 goals in eight-plus years at North London. Even with Galatasaray's interest, all signs point to him adding to that resume one last time.
