Tonight at 10 p.m. ET, the Philadelphia Flyers (8-12-3, 19 points) and San Jose Sharks (11-10-4, 26 points) take the ice at the SAP Center in San Jose for the first of two meetings this season. The game can be live streamed for free here. Philadelphia fans can hear all of the action on 97.5 The Fanatic while San Jose fans can do the same on KFOX 92.1.

Philadelphia is struggling entering tonight's matchup, having lost four straight games while San Jose will look for its second consecutive victory. These teams split both meetings last season with each team garnering a road victory.

The Flyers are coming off of losing both games of a weekend home-and-home to the New York Rangers and have not been getting any secondary scoring.

"Never seen anything like it in all the years I've been in hockey," Flyers chairman Ed Snider told the Philadelphia Inquirer. "Even when we were an expansion team [1967-68], somebody chipped in here and there."

Two players who have chipped in are Jakub Voracek, who is second in the league with 32 points (nine goals, 23 assists), and captain Claude Giroux, who is third in the NHL with 20 assists and ranks second on the team with 27 points.

The Sharks are coming off of a 6-4 victory over the rival Anaheim Ducks and are searching for some consistency.

"There's nights that have been really positive, and there have been other nights that have not been so good," coach Todd McLellan told NHL.com.

Logan Couture (10 goals, 11 assists) and Joe Thornton (seven tallies, 14 helpers) are tied atop the scoresheet for the Sharks with 21 points apiece.

In net, Antti Niemi is likely to start for San Jose and he is 8-7-3 with a 2.57 goals-against average and a .919 save percentage.

Philadelphia is likely to counter with Steve Mason, who is 4-8-2 with a 2.76 GAA and a .915 save percentage.

The Flyers and Sharks go head-to-head live tonight from the SAP Center in San Jose.
