Manny Pacquiao may not have faced the top competition possible when he faced Chris Algieri in China on November 22, but his performance was dominant enough to rekindle stagnating interest in a super fight vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Now, Pacquiao has taken a page out of "Money" Mayweather's book and used social media to goad him into accepting his challenge for a 2015 bout. Pacquiao mocked Mayweather's "TBE" acronym, which means "The Best Ever." Pacquiao turned it into "The Best Excuses" after posting a photo of himself hitting Algieri.

Lately Mayweather has been active on Instagram as well, but none of his activity has given insight into whom he may fight next. Between videos of him receiving sponge baths or gazing upon multiple twerking dancers, Mayweather fired a shot at Pacman by posting a video of him being floored twice by Juan Manuel Marquez.

Pacquiao has won three straight fights since losing to Marquez, however, and interesting opponents for both fighters are lacking. If Pacquiao is not in the running for Mayweather's next fight, it's believed he is looking at the winner of Amir Khan vs. Devon Alexander, which is set for December 13. Khan has a large, British fan base and has long said his speed and technical ability are the answer to Mayweather's masterful defense.
Even if Khan is able to defeat Alexander though, he has two knockout losses on his resume that are difficult to overlook.
Meanwhile, if Pacquiao doesn't convince Mayweather to face him he may move down in weight to 140 pounds, where exciting fighters like Danny "Swift" Garcia, Adrien Broner and Lucas Matthysse are currently looking for a shot at superstardom.
