In addition to cheering on her Seminoles at Doak Campbell Stadium, Sterger was also in town raising charity money in connection to the recent mass shooting at Florida State's campus.

Sterger was an undergraduate coed at Florida State when she was discovered by ABC Sports announcer Brent Musberger on camera during a 2005 broadcast.

"1,500 red-blooded Americans just decided to apply to Florida State," Musberger quipped as the cameras closed in on Sterger. Sterger parlayed her newfound fame into a littany of modeling shoots, as well as a hosting gig on 2010's sports television talk show, The Daily Line.

In 2010, she was also the focus of a major NFL scandal when it was revealed that former Jets QB Brett Favre had sent her illicit and unsolicited "sexts" when she was an employee of the team two years earlier.
