Two clubs in the Eastern Conference of MLS will do battle today in a league match between the New England Revolution and New York Red Bulls. The first-division clash scheduled for 3 p.m. ET will be held at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro and can be live streamed here. Additional TV coverage can be found on NBC Sports.
What They're Saying
New England Revolution striker Charlie Davies (via MLS's official website): "We know that there's a whole other round left, a 90-minute game. When they have Thierry Henry, anything can happen. We know Bradley Wright-Phillips isn't going to be a part of their squad next game, but they have Tim Cahill who's probably going to step in and that's his normal position, so they're going to be just as dangerous."
New York Red Bulls striker Thierry Henry: "The only thing is: If my Achilles don't last, then I will be on holiday if we don't go through. I'm sure guys wouldn't care if I can walk or not after that. That's just the way it is."
Tactical Preview
Player to Watch: With Wright-Phillips suspended due to yellow card accumulation, the Red Bulls turn to Tim Cahill to start atop the formation. In 27 league appearances, albeit out of position, the 34-year-old has two goals and two assists. He'll look for more productivity in his more natural position as a forward on Saturday.
New England Revolutions' Projected Lineup (4-2-3-1): Shuttleworth; Tierney, Goncalves, Soares, Farrell; Caldwell, Jones; Rowe, Nguyen, Bunbury; Davies
New York Red Bulls' Projected Lineup (4-2-3-1): Robles; Oyongo, Sekagya, Olave, Eckersley; McCarty, Alexander; Henry, Luyindula, Sam; Cahill
