Nick Young: Philadelphia 76ers Star Guard Faces Rape Suit

Philadelphia 76ers star guard Nick Young is being sued for rape after a woman claimed he slipped her a date rape drug, and then repeatedly violated her.

According to Blacksportsonline, the suit alleges that in 2011 the woman went on a date with Young only to suffer memory loss after she consumed a drink he passed to her. She later told authorities she believes he had slipped the drug gamma-Hydroxybutyric acid (GHB) into it.

The woman claims she woke up the next morning to find herself in Young’s bed, bleeding from both her vagina and rectum. After getting Young to admit that he had indeed had sex with her, the woman alleges she demanded that he take her home.

It was then, the suit alleges, that she went to UCLA Santa Monica Rape Treatment Center, where she was administered a rape kit during which doctors determined injuries to her vagina and rectum were consistent with a rape attack. After being tested for STDs, she claims further tests confirmed that she had in fact been drugged.

Even then, police were never called and Young has never been criminally charged in connection with the alleged encounter. In demanding unspecified damages, the woman is also suing for sexual battery, sexual assault and false imprisonment.

Just a few months ago, Young was also vilified throughout cyberspace when another woman claimed he was only willing to pay her $300 for a night of sex.
