LeSean McCoy Party Bus: Philadelphia Eagles Star Running Back Vehemently Denies Woman's Assault and Battery Charge

A representative for Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy says the NFL star is the victim of an extortion lawsuit by a woman who is suing McCoy over an incident last December on a party bus in which he allegedly assaulted the woman.

"The allegations against LeSean McCoy are completely, unequivocally false," the representative said in a statement reported on Philly.com.

The woman, who filed a lawsuit under the name "Mary Roe," claims that she was one of 15 women McCoy invited to join him on a party bus that went from Philadelphia to a New York City nightclub on Dec. 18.

The complaint also alleges that McCoy started spraying his guests with water. Roe objected, and McCoy told his bodyguard, "Big John," to "get her."

"Big John and/or McCoy then struck plaintiff in the face, causing her to fall to the ground, physically restrained her while she was lying on the ground, poured a beverage onto her hair, clothes, and body, and forcibly dragged and pushed her," according to the complaint published in Philly.com. "McCoy ordered the driver to stop on the side of the highway, and after the driver did so, both Big John and McCoy then forcibly ejected plaintiff from the bus."

The suit said she was forced out on the side of the New Jersey Turnpike

Roe seeks damages of more than $50,000 for assault and battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, false imprisonment and negligence. The woman claims she suffered head trauma, spinal disc protrusion, sprains, contusions and bruises and severe shock, Philly.com and TMZ.com have reported.

TMZ.com's report adds that police in New Jersey said the woman had no visible injuries when they interviewed her shortly after the incident.

TMZ reportedly spoke to McCoy's lawyer, Andrew M. Smith, who said, "This is sadly an attempt to extract money and LeSean will vigorously defend any attempt to collect money through a personal injury claim."
