Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman decided he wanted to put himself into the app business, and he has with Letters of Boom.
The title stems from the nickname from the Seattle secondary, which many refer to as the "Legion of Boom, referring to the Legion of Doom, an evil organization in the DC Comics universe.
The Seahawks are considered to have one of the hardest-hitting secondaries in the NFL.
Sherman told TMZ the following in regards to the word game:
"I've always loved word games, but there has never been anything out there that felt hard-hitting or extreme for me," said Sherman.
In Letters of Boom, players try to rearrange letters and spell words quickly, and sometimes things explode while they are playing.
Sherman provided voice work for the game, and says that the game features an updated dictionary. The game supposedly even recognizes words like "slang" and "swagger" and "picksix."

Sherman's Seattle Seahawks will face the San Francisco 49ers on Thanksgiving Day in a game that kicks off at 8:30 pm Eastern time. Both teams come into the game with 7-4 records and sit two games behind the Arizona Cardinals in the NFC West.
It is the first of two matchups between the teams this season. During last year's playoffs, the Seahawks defeated the 49ers 23-17 in the NFC Championship game. They went on to clobber the Denver Broncos in the Super Bowl, earning the franchise's first championship.
