The rumors that AJ Lee was looking to leave the WWE within the next few months intensified with her quick loss of the Divas Championship to Nikki Bella at the Survivor Series, but it appears the three-time title-holder isn't planning to leave the organization after all.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, Lee's quick 35-second loss to Bella at Survivor Series this past Sunday night at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis was just how the match was booked and not an indictment on Lee's future with the company.
Lee, who is married to former WWE Superstar CM Punk, reportedly hasn't requested a release or time off and is continuing to feud with the Bella twins as seen on Monday Night RAW.

F4WOnline.com also reports that even though the match between Bella and Lee was kept short, it was actually originally planned to be even quicker. Lee and Bella also reportedly weren't informed about the creative direction of the match until the last minute.
Bryan Alvarez mentioned on the Bryan & Vinny Show on F4WOnline.com that Bella and Lee were unaware about how quickly their match up would conclude.
The finish was similar to that of Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania XXVIII, which saw Lee kiss Bryan just before he was hit with a Brogue Kick and pinned.
"Do you know when these two were told they had 20 seconds?" Alvarez asked on the show. "They were told right as they were going over all of the spots in their match."
There were rumors last week that Lee was looking to leave shortly after the Survivor Series or December's TLC event, but it appears as though there was no truth to the speculation.
Lee took a hiatus from the WWE on the night after WrestleMania XXX in April by dropping the Divas Championship to a debuting Paige in order to move in with Punk in Chicago and marry him.
The two tied the knot over the summer and Lee eventually returned to the company on the June 30 edition of Monday Night RAW, where she ultimately won the Divas Championship back from Paige after being away from the company for two months.
Lee has continued to travel and compete in the WWE during her return while Punk has had many outside ventures and considers himself a retired wrestler.
Punk walked out on the WWE back in January a day after the Royal Rumble due to his frustration over the way his character was being used as well as due to being burned out by the crazy schedule the company has.
While there was some concern that Lee would follow in her husband's footsteps and leave the WWE, that doesn't appear to be the case.
