Recently, Cristiano Ronaldo made headlines when he went above and beyond with a celebration of a made penalty kick... in practice. But it seems that Ronaldo is not okay with such shenanigans when they are aimed in his direction.

Ronaldo Shows Up Teammates

According to media reports, at a Real Madrid practice on Friday, the team was going through a keep-ball drill, which is a common drill for nearly every club because it helps reinforce those basic skills that coaches love to preach about.

During the drill, Sami Khedira was in possession of the ball, and instead of just flicking a basic pass to the next man, he elected to try and thread the ball between Ronaldo's legs, a move known as a "nutmeg."

In soccer circles, the move is widely considered one of the most embarrassing things that can happen to a defender, and Ronaldo clearly did not appreciate the attempt by Khedira. He immediately stared Khedira down and began wagging his finger in his face while scolding the midfielder for having the audacity to attempt such a stunt.

Xabi Alonso Disrespects Ronaldo?

The whole scene evoked images of a parent scolding a child, which was particularly funny in light of the fact that Ronaldo routinely does things at practice that could be construed as showing up his teammates.

Perhaps some of Ronaldo's frustrations go back to the 2014 World Cup, when Ronaldo's Portugal suffered a four-nil defeat at the hands of Khedira's Germany. Or perhaps Ronaldo is just making it clear exactly who is in charge for Real Madrid.
