Sting came down to the ring at the closing moments of the Team Cena vs. Team Authority match at Survivor Series when Triple H was beating down Dolph Ziggler, who was the last man left for John Cena's team.

Triple H had put Seth Rollins -- the lone Team Authority man left in the match -- on top of Ziggler in a pinning position when Sting came out. Triple H and Sting stared each other down and "The Game" went to attack the former WCW and TNA icon, before Sting took control.

Sting then knocked out Triple H and reversed the pinning sequence by placing Ziggler on top of Rollins and Ziggler got the pinfall victory to ensure Team Cena's win .With the victory for Team Cena, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are no longer in power on-screen in the WWE.

By notching the win, Ziggler remained undefeated at Survivor Series all time and it was also the second time that Ziggler was the sole survivor as he was the last man remaining when Team Ziggler topped Team Foley at the 2012 edition of the event.

Now that Triple H has lost his on-screen power, it seems as though the seeds are planted for him to face Sting at WrestleMania 31 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. on March 29.

There were rumors that Sting would be brought in to face The Undertaker as a match between the two legends has been rumored for a long time, but the WWE may be switching gears now that Triple H will be looking for vengeance after Sting cost him his job.

The Undertaker lost The Streak and was injured when he faced Brock Lesnar at the Show of Shows this past April, putting his future in the ring in doubt.

It is possible the WWE still has a match planned for The Undertaker at WrestleMania, but it seems as though Sting will be locked into a feud with Triple H.

Sting has said in interviews that he would like to face The Undertaker at WrestleMania 31 even without The Streak gimmick being attached, but he also listed Triple H as a second possible opponent.

There are rumors that Sting will also be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2015 on the eve of WrestleMania. Vince McMahon has tried to land Sting for several years, but always came up short until he recently inked him to a contract similar to a legends deal.

The Survivor Series was the very first time that Sting set foot in a WWE ring as he had always been the lone main eventer from WCW that McMahon was unable to reel in despite many close calls.

Now that he has officially made his presence known, it appears that Sting will wrestle his first match in the WWE -- and likely the last match of his career -- at WrestleMania 31.
