Fresh off of winning his third championship ring in the past five years, Pablo Sandoval is getting to enjoy the perks of being a free agent.

His former team, the San Francisco Giants, is interested in re-signing him, and the Boston Red Sox, Toronto Blue Jays, and San Diego Padres are all trying to lure Sandoval away from the Bay Area.

Red Sox 'All In' On Sandoval

Sandoval, known as the Kung-Fu Panda, has reportedly heard all he needs to from the teams that are pursuing him, and he is expected to make his decision this week, according to media reports. Michael Sandoval, Pablo's brother and co-agent, indicated that several teams have submitted their offers and that Sandoval is done meeting with teams.

Michael elected not to specify which team is the favorite, but he explained that the star third baseman will carefully consider the offers he has received before making a decision. The contract offers themselves are not precisely known, although it was reported on Friday that the Red Sox offered Sandoval a five-year deal worth approximately $95 million.

Blue Jays Making Offer To Sandoval?

Immediately following the Giants' World Series victory, Sandoval indicated that he was interested in remaining with the team. The Red Sox desperately want to add him, as they could really use the help of a solid third baseman and a left-handed bat.

Many think that Boston would also have interest in Sandoval replacing David Ortiz as the team's designated hitter whenever Big Papi eventually decides to call it a career. Although no official comment has been given out of Sandoval's camp, it is believed that Boston would be the most likely destination if Sandoval decides not to re-sign with San Francisco.
