Today at 1:00 p.m. ET on ESPN the No. 25 Minnesota Golden Gophers (7-3, 4-2), fresh off a close home loss to the Ohio State Buckeyes, will hit the road for Nebraska where the No. 23 Cornhuskers (8-2, 4-2) will host them in a Big Ten showdown that can be live streamed free by clicking this link. Nebraska fans can listen to the game on News Radio 1110, while Minnesota fans can catch the radio broadcast on KFAN Sports Radio 100.3.

Despite an 8-2 record this season Nebraska head coach Bo Pelini is under fire for the Huskers' weak performances in games when they've been ranked. Last week was particularly embarrassing because they blew a 17-point lead to Wisconsin while allowing their star running back Melvin Gordon to break the NCAA single-game rushing record. Gordon trampled Nebraska for 408 yards and four touchdowns.

"I don't want to make an excuse -- because I'm not making an excuse; what happened happened -- but sometimes our guys put so much pressure on themselves to win that they're not playing to win, they're playing not to lose," Pelini said. "That's a bad recipe."

"The thing that was very disappointing was when it got to the second level, plays that in my opinion should have been an 8- or 20-yard gain ended up being 40 or 50," Pelini said.

They could be in for another rough week with Minnesota's run-heavy attack entering their building. The Gophers suffered a tough loss last week to Ohio State but remain in contention for a Big Ten title. "Who knows what's going to happen? Everybody's got to play each other," coach Jerry Kill said. "I wish I had a crystal ball, but I know we control our own destiny."
