Former UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre is back in the gym, although he has not given any official indications that he will fight again. St-Pierre recently gained medical clearance to begin working out after a long recovery process from a torn ACL that he suffered in March.

According to MMA Fighting, Nick Diaz has taken notice that St-Pierre is working out again, which dredged up memories of unanimous decision loss to GSP at UFC 158. During a media session on Monday, Diaz said that he would gladly go for a rematch, as long as it does not take place in Canada.

"Sure, if I do well, and he comes back in the sport, sure," said Diaz. "Why not? I see myself having a better run, too. Maybe just not being in Canada where you can just be on steroids."

Diaz alleged after the fight that GSP had been on steroids and that he was not tested prior to the fight. Quebec's commission did in fact test six of the 24 fighters at UFC 158, although it is unknown which fighters were tested.

Talks of a rematch may be preemptive anyhow because Diaz currently has plenty on his plate. He will face Anderson Silva at the upcoming UFC 183. For his part, GSP is not even sure that he will return to fighting, telling people not to read too much into his return to training.

"I always train... Training is part of my life, so it doesn't mean anything," said St-Pierre on a Chael Sonnen podcast.

"It doesn't mean that I'm going to be back or not. Whether I retire or not, or if I come back or not, I'm always going to be training. I like to feel in shape. I like to feel good in my own skin and that's why I'm training."

Diaz also had some words about GSP at the UFC "Time is Now" press conference on Monday.
