Two huge names being tossed around for the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2015 are late wrestling legend "Macho Man" Randy Savage and former WCW and TNA icon Steve "Sting" Borden.

Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that with the release of the WWE's new 'Macho Man' Randy Savage DVD this week, many people expect Savage to headline this year's Hall of Fame while Sting has been talked about for quite some time.

Savage, who passed away in 2011 after suffering a sudden heart attack while driving with his wife, was a two-time WWE Heavyweight Champion one-time WWE Intercontinental Champion and four-time WCW Heavyweight Champion during his illustrious career.

Savage should have been a lock for the Hall of Fame a long time ago, but some bad blood between his family and WWE CEO and Chairman Vince McMahon has kept him away from being named a Hall of Fame inductee over the years.

Savage also defected the WWE for WCW in 1994 which didn't sit well with a lot of people within the then-WWF.

Still, Savage is seen as one of the most legendary wrestlers and a big part of the wrestling boom from the late 1980s-mid 1990s.

Sting has yet to set foot in a WWE ring despite the company trying to land him for many years, but he recently signed on to a deal similar to a legends contract with the WWE and is a part of the WWE 2K15 video game.

Among his many accomplishments in the ring, Sting was a six-time WCW Heavyweight Champion, one-time NWA Heavyweight Champion and four-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion.

It is highly expected that Sting will wrestle his first match in the WWE -- and likely the last of his career - at WrestleMania 31 on March 29, 2015 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.

Sting is likely to battle The Undertaker if the Deadman decides to wrestle this year after losing The Streak to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XXX this past April and getting injured in that bout. Sting has also listed Triple H as a possible opponent.

There have been many rumored names for this year's Hall of Fame, including Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Rikishi, Kevin Nash (as Diesel or with the nWo) and Mickie James.

Sting seems to be a lock for the Hall of Fame while Savage may also finally find his rightful place in there after the WWE released his latest DVD project.

The Hall of Fame takes place on the eve of WrestleMania 31 on Saturday night, March 28 in California.
