Pablo Sandoval recently won another World Series with the San Francisco Giants, and is currently enjoying the free agent process, as other teams compete for his services.

Sandoval, who is nicknamed "Kung-Fu Panda," arrived in Boston Monday for a meeting with the Red Sox. Ironically enough, Boston is the only other team besides San Francisco to won a World Series in the past three years, taking home the title in 2013. However, the Red Sox struggled mightily throughout 2014 and missed the postseason.

According to ESPN, the Red Sox are "all-in" on signing Sandoval, who was spotted wearing a smile after arriving in Boston. Sandoval told the media that he was "excited" to be in town for a meeting with the team.

The Giants are interested in re-signing Sandoval, with some media reports even indicating that he is their top offseason priority. Some think that the comfort Sandoval has developed in San Francisco could give the team the nod on resigning him if he does receive comparable offers elsewhere.

Shields Headed to Miami?

The meetings are of monumental importance for the Red Sox, who desperately need a third basemen and another left-handed hitter, making the switch-hitting Sandoval a great fit for them. He could even be a candidate to fill the DH role after David Ortiz eventually calls it a career.

Boston's front office will have to work hard to land Sandoval, as the slugger is not expected to sign a deal before leaving town, no matter how good of an offer is made. After the Giants, World Series victory, he was asked if he planned to return to the Giants. He answered, "Without question."
