WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee may be following in her husband CM Punk's footsteps and leaving the WWE sometime after Sunday's Survivor Series event live from the Scottrade Center in St. Louis.

Updated Plans and Card For Sunday's Survivor Series

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, there are a lot of rumors going around about Lee looking to leave the company after Survivor Series.

The site indicates that Lee is advertised to appear at next month's TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs pay-per-view, but is not slated to appear at any other events after Dec. 14, adding fuel to the speculation.

WWE Superstar Sheamus Not Slated To Work Survivor Series

Lee has been a focal part of the WWE and hasn't been punished for her relationship with Punk, despite the fact that the "Best in the World" quit the company in January even though his deal didn't expire until July.

Lee is slated to defend her Divas Championship against Nikki Bella Sunday night at the Survivor Series and if the reports of her departure turn out to be true, it is likely that Bella will leave St. Louis with the title.

The WWE has had a rule that women who appear on Total Divas can't hold the Divas Championship due to the gap in filming of the reality show and the actual WWE programs, but with most of the Divas now on the show the rule could change.

Punk walked out on the WWE back in January a day after the Royal Rumble due to his frustration over the way his character was being used as well as due to being burned out by the rigorous traveling schedule of the company.

Punk has made many public appearances since his departure, but has not shown any desire to come back to the ring anytime soon, even going as far as to tell a reporter at the AP Music Awards that he was "never ever" returning to the squared circle.

The WWE recently kept Punk's name out of a blurb about the upcoming WWE Studios film Queen of the Ring despite the fact that he made a cameo in it while the former WWE Champion revealed he is slated to work on a project with Marvel soon.

Lee took off from the WWE on the night after WrestleMania XXX by dropping the Divas Championship to a debuting Paige in order to move in with Punk in Chicago and marry him.

The two were married over the summer and Lee eventually returned to the company on the June 30 edition of Monday Night RAW, where she ultimately won the Divas Championship back from Paige after an over two-month hiatus.

Lee has continued to travel with the company while Punk has enjoyed his time off, most recently appearing on AMC's Talking Dead program this past Sunday night that follows the popular zombie drama The Walking Dead.

It's worth noting that during her hiatus, there were rumors that Lee wouldn't be returning to the company and that she might want to have a child, but those proved untrue. The same may happen for the current speculation going around, though it is feasible that she'd want to spend more time with her new husband.

Punk and Lee recently celebrated six months of being married to each other, which was documented by the couple on Twitter.

Punk walked out on the WWE in January and now it appears as though his wife Lee may be following his footsteps 10 months later.
