Sunday Night Football gave us the latest edition of "Bill Belichick gets historic performance from an unknown player" when Jonas Gray carried the football 38 times for 199 yards and four touchdowns.

Gray's performance played a huge role in New England's dominating win over the Indianapolis Colts. Gray, who had not recorded a touch this season until a few weeks ago, now figures to be the hottest waiver wire add in nearly every fantasy football league across the country.

Week 12 Fantasy Football Pickups

Before becoming an overnight sensation in a primetime football game on national television, Gray played college football for Notre Dame, where he was productive until an ACL tear derailed his senior season. However, Gray also carried a private dream with him when he was not on the football field--he longed to become a comedian.

According to reports , Gray spent some of his free time during his college days practicing his standup routine so that he could pursue his comedic aspirations when he finished school or once he stopped playing football. The highlight of his comedic career (which is presumably now on hold while he plays for the Patriots) came one night when he was the opening act for Dustin Diamond, better known as Samuel "Screech" Powers from Saved by the Bell.
