WWE Superstar CM Punk made his third appearance on AMC's Talking Dead on Sunday night while his good friend Colt Cabana said things are going well for the "Best in the World."

Punk made an appearance on the AMC show, which follows the popular zombie drama The Walking Dead under his CM Punk moniker. When he was on the show last year, Punk appeared under his real name Phil Brooks, but he owns the rights to the Punk name and used it this time around.

The appearance is just one of many projects Punk has worked on since departing the WWE in January and he has an upcoming venture with Marvel that is set to come out in February.

Cabana, who is a good friend of Punk in real life, spoke to the Miami Herald about his friend being happy while also addressing the fact that Punk has been tight-lipped on his reasons for leaving the WWE.

"When Punk wants to talk, he will talk," Cabana told the publication. "That's not for me. I enjoy seeing him being happy right now. So that's where I'll leave it. I know he is very happy. Things are going well for him. When he wants to talk, I'm sure he will do it."

Punk walked out on the WWE back in January likely due to his frustration and from being burned out due to the company's rigorous traveling schedule, but he has surfaced at many different events since his departure.

Punk married WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee over the summer, but she remains with the company while Punk is done with the WWE.

Punk has made many public appearances since his departure from the WWE, but has not shown any desire to come back to the ring anytime soon, even going as far as to tell a reporter at the AP Music Awards that he was "never ever" returning to the squared circle.

The WWE has kept the mentions of Punk to a minimum, even keeping his cameo appearance in the WWE Studios movie Queen of the Ring out of advertisements on YouTube and WWE.com.

While it doesn't appear that Punk will be back in the ring anytime soon, the "Best in the World" is keeping himself plenty busy outside the realm of professional wrestling.
