A police raid last month turned up drugs and guns at the home of former NBA player Robert Swift.

According to an article by the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, Swift was charged with possession of a sawed-off shotgun following the raid.

Are the Thunder Thinking About Tanking This Season?

In all, police found 18 firearms in the house during the raid in early October. One of the weapons was reportedly a military-caliber grenade launcher. Swift lived in the house with a reported drug dealer, and police found drugs in addition to the guns, although Swift has not been charged with any drug-related offenses at this time.

Swift's house was foreclosed on after he failed to maintain the mortgage, and he eventually moved into the house with Trygve Bjorkstam that police raided. Bjorkstam is allegedly a drug dealer, and the local prosecutors are portraying Swift as a drug addict that was helping Bjorkstam collect drug debts. Bjorkstam reportedly told police that Swift was not involved with dealing the drugs, which may be why Swift has yet to be charged beyond with anything beyond possession of a sawed-off shotgun.

Kobe Bryant to be Traded?

Swift was drafted out of high school by the Seattle Supersonics. He played for the franchise for five years, finishing up his time with them after they moved to Oklahoma City and became the Thunder. After leaving the NBA, Swift caught on with various teams in lesser leagues. NBA teams, including the Knicks and Celtics, were reportedly interested in Swift as recently as 2011 according to a profile that The Seattle Times ran on Swift earlier this year.

Swift is interviewed below in a news story about the foreclosure on his home and his subsequent refusal to leave.
